Oslo-Day 2

Another beautiful day in Norway (despite the bout of morning sickness this morning). We headed off first to the Viking Ship museum, which had 3 old ships that were kept pretty intact in blue clay. The carvings on the boat were pretty detailed.

Then it was off to the Vigeland sculpture park. It's a large park that has many of Gustav Vigeland's sculptures, which are amazing. They're a mix of stylised naked people in maniƩriste poses. The most spectacular is the big monolith with lots of different people all holding each other in different ways, it's really beautiful.

Tomorrow we're off on a long train/boat/bus tour to our next destination: Bergen.
